woo hoo. yesterday was the HAPPIEST day of my life. i went to cross country and after that, went home and changed for the evening at SRJC. it was the 'B' and 'C' Divisions GRAND FINALS and at the same time, they are going to announce the rankings/placings of the TOP 20 INDIVIDUAL SPEAKER for both divisions. when Mark Gabriels announced the 20th up to the 6th, i was so happy that my name is not there because i am in the TOP 5. then it limited to the last 5 names. my fate lies here. i was so nervous. hoping my name to come to the last. i shook and literally, i shook not of fear but nervousity (if there is such word). 5th place is from someother schools. The 5th - 3rd position was taken up by other speakers. and now this moment came, i was with this "st patrick's guy", it was either i got 1st of he got 1st. the moment came, 2nd of the individual speaker goes to..... "from .... St Patrick's School". we screamed. i was the top, the top of the "C" Division, then Mark Gabriel said and the "Best Overall Individual Speaker of the Singapore Secondary Schools Debating Championships goes to ... from Bowen Secondary School, Wee Yong Choon Eugin. " My happiest moment !!!!! :) I went up and got the prize from Mrs Julia Gabriels. then the "C" Division winner was Queenstown Secondary School and the "B" Division winner was the Temasek Academy !! And then we went to Kovan for dinner cum supper at Macdolnalds. We ate "Double Fillet o Fish" Yummy. got to go already.
